Participating Sport Stores

During the period September 15, 2010 to October 31, 2010 you can sign up and pay for your Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club membership (season pass) at the following sport stores in Whitehorse.

During January and February, Northwestel Yukon Loppet entry forms are available at the following stores. Entry forms must be dropped off at The Ski Base at Mt. McIntyre Recreation Centre or mailed to the ski club.

Ed Schiffkorn, A Club Pioneer

The ski community lost one of it's 'pioneers' last week. Ed Schiffkorn was a key figure in the early years of downhill and cross country skiing in Whitehorse. He was a downhill skier and participated in the Canada Winter Games in the 60's. He was instrumental in the development of downhilll skiing at Haekel Hill in the 70's.
